Beer Menu

Vine and Bean Cafe presents a collection of craft beers from around the country. These hand-made brews are an excellent compliment to our gourmet comfort food, cozy ambiance, and authentic music and art.

The following is a sampling of our offerings. The menus changes constantly, seasonally, and, to some extent, at the whim of the Chef - just as it should be!

Pale Ales

Two-Hearted Ale – Bell’s Brewery

This is Bell’s India Pale Ale.  American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.  7.10% ABV ①

Stone IPA – Stone Brewing

Deep amber in color, Stone IPA is robust and full-flavored.  A delicate hop aroma is complemented by a rich maltiness.  Great by itself or with food requiring a beer with character. 6.9% ABV②

Dogfish Head 60 Sec– Dogfish Head

A session Indian Pale Ale w/ Warrior, Amarillo and Mystery Hop X.  A powerful East Coast I.P.A., w/ a lot of citrusy hop character. 6.0% ABV③

Winter White Ale– Bell’s Brewery

A Wheat Ale brewed with American Wheat and a proprietary blend of Hefe and classic Belgian-style yeasts. A refreshing winter alternative created from the subtle fusion of two classic flavors. 4.9% ABV④

Belgian White Ale – Blue Moon Brewing Co.

A refreshing wheat with an orange twist and a dry, sweet finish.  Best w/orange slice . 5.4% ABV⑤

Denver Pale Ale – Great Divide Brewing

DPA is a world-renowned, classic pale ale with a malty middle and an equally hearty complement of hop aroma, flavor and biterness. 5.4% ABV

Loose Cannon Hop3 Ale – Clipper City

Called hop cubed ale to reflect the over 3 lbs of hops per barrel! Also hopped 3 ways – in the kettle, in the hop back, and dry hopped. 7.25% ABV⑥

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

With a deep amber color and an exceptionally full-bodied character, Premium Cascade hops give this ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor. 5.6% ABV⑦

Burning River Pale Ale -Great Lakes

An assertively hopped American Pale Ale w/ citrusy & piney cascade hops. 6% ABV⑧

Arrogant Bastard Ale – Stone Brewing $6

A strong ale with a big charater and plenty of attitude, 7.5% ABV ⑲

Amber Ales

Avalanche Amber Ale – Breckenridge

A blend of pale and caramel malts, and just a kiss of bittering hops.  Aromas of pale grains, as clean as Colorado snow.  Stay warm. 5.7% ABV⑩

Lagunitas Censored

Starts out hoppy, with a nice caramel malt flavor coming through as it warms up.6.4% ABV ⑪

Porter Ales

Saint Bridget’s Porter – Great Divide

An elegant, smooth porter that brims with cofee and chocolate characteristics. Saint Bridget was a patron Saint of Ireland, known for the epic miracle of transforming hew bathwater into beer for thirsty clerics. 5.9% ABV

Blackjack Porter – Left Hand Brewery

Initial slight sweetness is followed by roasted malt flavors.  A blend of dark chocolate and espresso fills the palate and then yields to a surprisingly clean finish.  6.4% ABV⑫

Old Leghumper – Thirsty Dog

A robust porter.  Dark in color andfull-bodied with a malty sweet taste.  Deep roasted, yet silky smooth.  A deep roasted chocolate malt is used to give a rich, chocolaty taste.  6.7% ABV⑬

Edmond Fitzgerald – Great Lakes

A complex, roasty porter, w/ a chocolate-coffee taste. 5.8% ABV⑭

Lagers, Pilseners

Scrimshaw – North Coast Brewing

A fresh-tasting Pilsner from North Coast Brewing.  Brewed with Munich malt, and Hallertauer and Tettnang hops for a subtle hops character, a clean, crisp palate, and a dry finish. 4.4% ABV⑮

Eliot Ness Amber Lager-Great Lakes

An amber lager w/ rich, fragrant malt flavors balanced by crisp, noble hops. 6.2% ABV ⑯

Original Lager – Weihenstephaner

The aroma is kind of lemony and malty.  A great head forms a delicate white lace on the glass.  The flavor is a perfect compliment of between the malty, lemony hops.  5.1% ABV ⑰

Dortmunder Gold Lager-Great Lakes

A smooth lager that strikes a delicate balance between sweet & malty dry hop flavors. 5.8% ABV⑱
