Beer Specials This Week! Out-of-Seasonal Beers

Winter brings with it snow, cold, hats, lit fireplaces and, of course, winter beers.  There are many takes on the tradition of brewing a special seasonal beer for those long winter nights, but most of them have a richness, robustness, and an elevated alcohol content to help make the season merry.

We are stocking up on these fine brews to help everyone through the coming months, but we have some summer and fall beers to move out of the way before we can bring them all in.  As such, all of our out-of-seasonal beers are on special for $2.50 while they last.  The College Student Discount is 15% on all our fine edibles when you are also drinking a beer from this list:

Pale Ales

Bell’s Oberon Ale – Bell’s Brewery

Made with American wheat and Saaz hops, Oberon is spicy and fruity with the color and scent of a summer afternoon.

Lagunitas Censored

Starts out hoppy, with a nice caramel malt flavor coming through as it warms up.

Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale

A mildly hopped ale made with Maine blueberries giving a subtle blueberry aroma and smooth body.

Dog Days – Two Brothers Brewing Co.

This warm weather golden lager is a German style Dortmunder with a delicate 
caramel malt character and light body. Dog Days has a noticeable 
noble hop character creating a crisp, clean finish.

Hefeweissbier – Weihenstephaner

Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian specialty ‘Weisswurst’ or white sausage.
