“Have you ever wiled away the hours on a porch, just taking in the scenery and savoring the company of great friends…moving to the natural rhythm of the day without any help from the clock? PORCH has always felt that way to me. We started this project on a Porch in Vermont back in the summer of 2000, or was it 2001 ? Doesn’t really matter and that’s kind of the point. PORCH is two great friends that have learned over the years to listen really closely to one another and, on a good day, create a wave of sound that is as organic as the blowing grass on that Vershire, Vermont meadow that we sang too way back when. And it’s a mighty big PORCH that always has room for like minded pickers and grinners to come wile away with us.”
