DBC returns to Vine and Bean.

Their second CD, Mélange” was produced in 1997and was hailed by Cleveland music critic Anastasia Pantsios as being…

“…diverse and sophisticated, an elegant work.
These tunes ride on a bed of swaying rhythms and subtle,
intricate guitars that have an urbane rhythm and blues feel.”

In March of 1999 the band attained international recognition with a whirlwind 11 gig tour throughout Belgium and the Netherlands.   In addition, DBC has performed in New York City where both Lynn and Marcia had worked on their individual musical ventures in the 1980’s before forming the band in Cleveland.

Their most recent CD, “Live and More,” was released in 2002 and runs the gamut of the rock, folk, swing, blues, and island style music that is part of DBC’s eclectic, musical program.

Mike Calhoun (founding member of the Grammy Award Winning Dazz Band) is the most recent collective performer bringing a special emphasis on blues and jazz in his phenomenal lead guitar playing.  Classically trained violinist, Samuel Salsbury and versatile bassist, Eric Daniel (also of the Skinny Band) join Lynn and Marcia in their acoustic project, La Vie.

In addition to being a lead singer and songwriter, Marcia Steele, who is originally from Toledo, Ohio, is the Chief Conservator at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Lynn Haney, who has been a prominent folk singer in Cleveland, Ohio and New York City, presently teaches English at Collinwood High School.

Brian Henke is back to enchant the patio once again. His unique guitar style has been called everything from Folk to New Age to Neo-Classical to Pastoral or as Brian likes to call it “a big stewpot of everything, stirred up, simmered and served to taste.” His music appeals to anyone who like their music lyrical, thought provoking and performed with virtuosity. Through it all is an undercurrent of spirituality and mysticism that Brian says is very much apart of the creative process.
